Safety improvements scheduled next week on SH-55 near Banks

Motorists should expect daytime delays on SH-55 south of Banks from Monday, Oct. 12, through Thursday, Oct. 15, as crews complete safety improvements near the Fleming Creek Bridge.

Motorists should expect traffic impacts on State Highway 55 beginning Monday, Oct. 12, through Thursday, Oct. 15, as crews continue safety improvements on the Fleming Creek Bridge south of Banks.

Work includes installing new signs, painting lane lines, and grinding rumble strips along SH-55. Flaggers will be reducing traffic to one lane beginning Monday during daylight hours while crews complete the work.
