New Chief Delivery Officer joins as Kanerika expands its Forward Deployment Engineering practice

AUSTIN, TX, UNITED STATES, September 17, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Kanerika, a global data and AI consulting firm, today announced Dheeraj Garg has joined the company as Chief Delivery Officer, effective August 2026. Garg reports directly to CEO and Co-founder Samidha Garud. His appointment is part of a broader leadership expansion as Kanerika scales its delivery, product, and security functions alongside its technology partnerships.

Experience & Background

Garg brings 29 years of delivery and digital transformation experience across banking and financial services, telecom, analytics, government, and enterprise services. He has held CIO, CTO, and senior delivery leadership roles at IGT Solutions, SG Analytics, The Smart Cube, Infosys, and GE Capital, giving him deep experience in scaling delivery organizations across complex enterprise environments.

At Kanerika, Garg will lead delivery governance and execution quality across the company's engagement models, scale the FLIP product organization, run the PMO function, and build out Kanerika's AI-led Forward Deployment Engineering practice, the team responsible for turning AI pilots into production systems for enterprise clients.

Garg's appointment comes as Kanerika deepens its position across the Microsoft, Databricks, Snowflake, and OpenAI ecosystems. Kanerika holds three Microsoft Solutions Partner designations, in Data & AI, Digital & App Innovation, and Infrastructure, has joined the OpenAI Partner Network, and was named a Major Contender in the Everest Group Microsoft Azure Services PEAK Matrix 2026. The company maintains ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001, and ISO 27701:2019 certifications, SOC 2 Type II compliance, and CMMI Level 3 appraisal.

Kanerika’s Leadership Expansion & Future Plans

The leadership expansion also includes Sudeep Nigam, who joined as Senior Delivery Leader in May 2026. Nigam spent more than 26 years at Oracle, most recently directing SaaS production engineering and operations across a $108 million ARR portfolio spanning JAPAC and EMEA.

Lalit Rawat was also appointed as Kanerika’s Chief Information Security Officer in November 2025. Rawat is an eight-year Microsoft Azure MVP and the author of two books on Azure, with more than 1,000 training sessions delivered and recent speaking work on securing generative AI within Microsoft 365 Copilot.

Kanerika has also added senior leaders in platform product management (for its IP, FLIP), alliance management, business analysis, engineering, and its data center of excellence over the past six months.

Kanerika will build on this leadership expansion at FabCon Europe in Barcelona this September, where the company plans to grow its presence across European and neighboring markets with FLIP, its migration accelerator suite, and its enterprise AI agents.
